Laird Hamilton

Laird does all kinds of interesting things in the ocean like making epic long distance journeys on his ocean-going paddleboard, and creating the fast forward speed sailing loop.

At Twenty-two years old Laird defeated the french champion in the speed-sailing competition in Port Saint-Louis, France. He also broke the European speed record of 36 knots. Now adays he surfs in Hawaii and works on different board designs to help him catch the giant waves.
